What happened to the weekend? No, seriously, where did it go? It was Friday afternoon and then allofasudden, I'm at work... Monday morning.... clutching my to-go coffee mug like "what the hell...?"
It was a busybusy one for sure. Sunday afternoon was my first ever sewing class (check here for upcoming classes!) I had never touched a machine before 12:30pm and now I'm shopping for them online.
I have a one-track mind when it comes to things I want *really* bad, be it a haircut, new pair of glasses or major appliance and now I have sewing machine fever. I'm not the most patient person in the world so after two hours of sewing machine exposure, I expect to be a professional, to know...possibly through osmosis/ laying my hands on the machine, to be blessed with complete knowledge. Which is ridiculous. But I do want to practice and perfect, possibly acquiring a hunchback in the process.

While I was at Sew Crafty, I picked up a new Sublime Stitching pattern. SO AWESOME. I'm pretty excited to embroider one of those Matryoshkas on a boring, solid colored V-neck shirt from Forever 21. Huzzah!
So until I am the owner of one of these bad boys, I'll continue to do things by hand and work on great little projects.
Now for some pretty embroidered inspiration!
love the one with the neptunes lyrics, ha
